visitors and search engines. And did you see how easy it was to add those posts? It took no time at all to put that information online. If you can write, you can put that writing online for the world to read.
Blogger is easy to get started on. Let's look at something more complicated, because it takes more time and effort to make your blog look like it's a part of your web page and work with the layout and such. My blog is a bit more complicated, but this simply means that if there's something you'd like to do special with your blog, it's likely doable. You see, I've got categories and special pages, you can log in and out to see the information and things like that, BUT at the heart of it it's still the same. This is word press, a little more flexible than google, and here's what it looks like when I put a post online. I log in, I choose a title, "good blog stuff", I paste in the information, choose the blogs category, and click a button. Let's see what happened back at the site: Suddenly there's another blogs post in this category. Wordpress automatically added it to the list of posts, and when I click on it it's all there. All the links, the comment boxes at the bottom--that's all automatically taken care of. So I'm free just to write new posts and put them online. Blogs make it quick and easy.

blogs!!!
but I don't have to post something on a daily or even a weekly basis because the information doesn't expire quickly. The key on these blogs is to have enough information available that people will come back again and again to use your site as a reference and a resource. As that begins to happen, you become an expert in your field and you begin to build a loyal base of followers and customers that come to you for solutions to their problems. This is great because you can build a blog with good information over time without having to dedicate time to it every day, but each post you put on your blog adds value to your site visitors and pretty soon you've got a valuable collection of information that will bring a lot of people to your site and help you build a relationship of trust with them. The drawbacks are that you generally won't get people coming back to your site at such regular intervals. That, and a category based blog takes a little more planning and forethought than a chronological blog.
